Rahul Ram story : Indian Ocean

At the beginning of this blog ,I was blogging heavily ( a post a day )types , but have gradually slowed down. A few things have been happening at my end. Besides voluntarily working for Happy Camera Club ,I am also part of an organisation that ‘s working with BOP in energy crisis area . It has been a while now and it involves some travelling.

Strangely ,I have been enjoying the stint so far and for the first time stayed for some time in villages in districts that were also partially influenced by naxals .  Peak of summers but really in the field no one cares. And certainly no one in Bihar cares .They can’t afford to care. Anyways that was followed by a few more trips, then a visit to a friend’s set up in Ludhiana and taking pictures.

Baarish aur Briefcase, Mumbai ,India  @Siddharth Jain

What ,I want to share today though, is not related to photography but music. The journey’s similar and the talk is in Hindi-English .

So, basically I have gone through a lot of talks…both online and in person ..seminars, TED etc etc aur un mey sey yeh awesome

its 70 minute long..so take your time…jinko samay kee fight lagegi unke liye just a small brief…

Rahul Ram is the lead singer of Indian Ocean..but prior to being one he passed out from Stephens , did his masters from IIT Kanpur and Phd  from Cornell…one of the youngest to finish his PHd though he had varied other interests..its a fascinating story of life, these institutions, society and music 🙂

have a go

cheers

About happy camera club

Happy camera club is an initiative brought upon by a thought to teach the less privileged basic aspects of a skill like photography which further can be used by them in their day to day life. To leave them with an additional skill set to choose from. A win-win situation ,we aim to work with organizations and people who support this cause.
