Things as they are

So it has been a tricky decision to make. I wanted to start classes in Delhi a bit early but due to Diwali season,it was not possible. And the reason for this was it will probably give me space enough to be a part of Angkor Photo Festival this year starting 19th Nov. Its been a while since I went there ,but as a consolation at least my pictures are going there. A great place to be ,I would recommend everyone to check out the photo festival.

Anyways to conduct this workshop was of prime importance. I have been running this in  a very bootstrapped way ,but it still has worked out . Something always works out in the end you know if you keep pushing. Even the facebook page grew to 100 odd people. Though it is quite sedate right now ,but maybe things will start happening there too. It’s a bit difficult to focus there when many things are happening outside the virtual world. Fortunately for me there have been some great response ,and folks have been supportive without asking for anything. Yesterday too while talking at Joy of Giving week i met some wonderful and enthusiastic students who wanted to volunteer for the Delhi’s workshop.

I am looking forward to meeting a folks from fairmail in coming weeks. Maybe they can help me in figuring out the logistics. I had a tonne load of questions prepared which they answered quite patiently. So now that’s followed by more questions and doubts. And then there is this whole big project of making the website. And doing regular workshops, getting more cameras and . Anyways all said and done if things go well maybe Angkor festival next year…

here’s a song that’s inspiring..from a group called Sigur Ros

About happy camera club

Happy camera club is an initiative brought upon by a thought to teach the less privileged basic aspects of a skill like photography which further can be used by them in their day to day life. To leave them with an additional skill set to choose from. A win-win situation ,we aim to work with organizations and people who support this cause.
